Do Nothing Books is a small independent publisher specialising in bilingual English-Chinese editions of books on Chinese art and culture.
We were founded in 2021 following a collaborative translation project based on the shanshui (Chinese landscape painting) instructional books by the 20th century painter Lu Yanshao. We are particularly interested in using our publications to build east-west collaboration between visual artists and scholars.
